The JET Collection
On-line and at our London Showroom, 20A Pimlico Road, Belgravia
New HONEYCOMB WEAVES have just landed to accompany our recently added Hand-Dyed and Screen Print Linens.
The now expanded JET Collection of Fabrics and Wallpapers, has been developed by Susanna White, the creative force behind Whiteworks, from designs created in the 1930s and 1940s by her eccentric and talented grandmother, Joan Evelyn Thomson, always known as JET.
JET’s life story is extraordinary in its own right, starting with art school in Paris and Vienna and work with the iconic Ascher. Marriages, motherhood and then her involvement during the Beatles era with the Maharishi and Transcendental Meditation caused her designs to be set aside until unearthed by Susanna from an old folio in a chest of drawers. This link will take you to the fuller biography, which provided the background to the World of Interiors article, coinciding with the launch of the JET Collection at Decorex 2017.
We welcome enquiries to discuss bespoke colours and scales.
