About Whiteworks and the JET Collection

Whiteworks, launched with the JET Collection at Decorex  2017, is a marriage of Susanna White’s creative skills to John White’s practical experience. Susanna and John have combined their skills in the past as shown by the testimonials and indeed by their own projects.  As well as producing wallpapers and fabrics and promoting the creative talents of artists and designers, we can also use this combination to offer a flexible, inspirational and comprehensive consultancy service to assist with the design, decoration and adornment of house as well as garden.

Susanna’s creativity, interest in design and sourcing skills resonate through our  ‘Shop’, ‘and JET Collection pages as well as the gallery on Instagram.

These projects ranged from choosing the fabric for a sofa in the Long Gallery of Broughton Castle to the complete refurbishment of town houses, modern apartments and country houses. Every project and client is different, and while quality design is the key, budgets are always sensitive. Whiteworks will react in a realistic and cost-effective manner to any enquiry and explore how best a consultation and collaboration can be tailored to suit the client’s needs.

Susanna White

Susanna comes from an artistic family with her mother a painter and her grandmother Jet a talented designer, which helps to explain her imaginative and creative personality. She has devoted her energies increasingly over the last 15 years to interior and garden design and recently to development of the JET collection of wallpapers and fabrics discovered by her in 2014.

She has now with husband John set up Whiteworks, through which they will combine fully for the first time their energy and skills.

John White

John has developed and run his own construction and property business, created from scratch, since graduating from Oxford. His love of good architecture and design, together with his knowledge of business and company organisation, ensure that Whiteworks has the necessary practical support to turn Susanna’s designs and creative ideas into reality. After many years in London, they now live in the beautiful environment they have created for themselves in Gloucestershire – the home of Whiteworks.
