Ceramics - Priscilla Kennedy
Priscilla works and lives in a tiny and picturesque hunting tower on a hill near Ludlow. She has an extraordinary talent for the hand decoration of fine bone china and ceramics and we display here for sale two pairs of ‘Adam and Eve’ plates.
Since finding Priscilla via a House and Garden article 10 years ago, we have worked with her to produce some bespoke tiled mural works for decoration projects as well as including many of her beautiful pieces of decorated china in exhibitions and private collections for clients.
In the 1970’s she trained principally with Signorina Simi in Florence and also thereafter studied traditional painting methods in Malvern. Her great regard for the traditions of porcelain painting such as Meissen and Sevres provide the foundation of her decorative skill, revealed in the originality and flair of her distinctive and humourous take on modern life.
